There’s no InfoSec without Information.
At the same time that we have a team in Las Vegas for the HDI show we’re going to have another team in Orlando, Florida for MIS Training Institute’s InfoSec World Conference and Expo from April 15 – 17, 2013. The event will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, which pretty much guarantees attendees a nice stay right off the bat. Unlike the Magic Kingdom, however, there’s nothing magical about information security — it all revolves around having the right people with the right knowledge and the right tools.
Getting those right people the right knowledge is what InfoSec World is all about. Over the course of three days there will be four different keynotes and 60 breakout sessions providing a veritable slew of InfoSec information on topics covering InfoSec management strategies, Enterprise security, database security, mobile and BYOD issues, and many others. The sessions range from technologically advanced (for InfoSec wonks who really like to get their hands dirty) to more business-related discussions, ensuring that there will be something for just about everyone whose professional life revolves, in one way or another, around information security.
The Right Tools in the Right Place
As mentioned, the other facet to doing information security right is having the right tools in the right place — and that’s why, if you’re interested in upping your company’s or organization’s InfoSec game, we invite you to stop by and visit us at Booth #413. We’ve been protecting Global 500 companies and doling out InfoSec information for more than 25 years — and we’d love to introduce you to the robust line of InfoSec software and tools we’ve created to help safeguard your information. Tools like ERQ, that make RACF easier to work with. Or CryptoMon, that lets you have a better understanding and control of IBM’s ICSF cryptographic hardware facility. And of course there’s our suite of MegaCryption products that let you easily encrypt, decrypt, compress and securely share data, whether it’s at rest or in transit.
So come on by — we always love meeting and talking with other industry professionals. And don’t forget: There’s no InfoSec without Information.
