Like any other industry, the technical support sector is populated with everyone from seasoned veterans to new recruits and senior executives to front-line warriors. The HDI Conference and Expo, taking place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from April 16 – 19, 2013, is designed to offer a solid learning experience for all of those differing levels of tech support personnel.
The conference is put on by HDI, which is a professional association and certifying organization for the tech support and services industry. (And in case you’re wondering, until 2005 HDI was the Help Desk Institute, but re-branded itself at that time in an acknowledgement that the tech support sector had grown far beyond help desks.) Featuring a variety of keynote speakers and workshops, the conference will be an educational event on a variety of topics including strategic planning, operational planning, basic industry principles, and other topics of interest to those responsible for tech support and help desk implementations.
In fact, there will be so much going on that tech support and help desk warriors who attend should fully expect to be educated on the latest industry trends, gain in-depth knowledge on topics of particular interest, and have a world-class networking opportunity with others from the industry. We’re excited and proud that we’ll be doing our part in helping to educate industry professionals, too: On April 17th we’ll be doing a live product demo of our ReACT software at the HDI Launch Pad at 12:45 P.M., as well as sponsoring a Mandalay Bay – Mix It at the Top event that same evening of the 17th from 7 to 8 P.M.
But wait, that’s not all
The week will provide some powerful networking opportunities, indeed — not the least of which is the Expo, with vendors of Enterprise software of all shapes and sizes, including one of our very own ReACT teams. ReACT is our flagship self-service password reset software for Enterprise help desk applications, and works with Active Directory, RACF, Top Secret, Novell, UNIX, Linux, Oracle, SQL, Google APPS, Live@Edu/Office365, SAP, AdvantX and others. If your Help Desk application isn’t in that list, don’t worry — ActiveX scripting allows ReACT to tie into custom applications, too.
So if you’re attending HDI this year, sometime amidst the breakout sessions, the keynotes, the Smart Car giveaway, and everything else, stop by Booth #314 and meet some of the team and find out firsthand exactly what ReACT can do to help take your tech support application to the next level. You’ll be glad you did.
See you in Vegas!
