These Terms of Service govern the use of SMS and text messaging services provided by ASPG in connection with authentication and identity verification.
1. Voluntary Opt-In
Participation in our SMS messaging service is **100% voluntary and opt-in**.
Users will only receive SMS messages after voluntarily providing a mobile telephone number and requesting or enabling SMS-based authentication.
By opting in, you authorize ASPG to send authentication-related text messages to the mobile number you provide.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
2. Purpose of Messages
SMS messages are used solely for authentication and identity verification purposes.
Messages are only generated in response to a user-initiated authentication or verification request. Examples may include:
* One-time passcodes (OTP)
* Authentication codes
* Identity verification codes
* Account access verification
* Password or credential recovery verification
ASPG does not use this SMS service to send unsolicited marketing, advertising, or promotional messages.
3. Message Frequency
There is no predetermined or recurring messaging frequency.
Users receive messages only when they initiate or invoke an authentication or verification process that requires an SMS message.
Accordingly, message frequency depends entirely on the user's use of the authentication service.
4. Message and Data Rates
**Message and data rates may apply.**
Any charges associated with receiving SMS messages are determined by the user's mobile carrier and wireless service plan.
ASPG is not responsible for charges assessed by a user's mobile carrier.
5. Opt-Out
Participation is voluntary, and users may opt out of SMS messaging at any time.
Where supported, users may reply **STOP** to an SMS message to opt out of future SMS communications.
Users may also disable SMS-based authentication through the applicable account or authentication settings, where available.
After opting out, SMS-based authentication may no longer be available and the user may need to select another supported authentication method.
6. Help
Users may also contact their helpdesk for assistance.
7. Privacy
Telephone numbers and SMS consent information are used only as necessary to provide the requested authentication service.
ASPG does not sell, rent, or share users' telephone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Availability
SMS delivery is dependent upon mobile carriers, telecommunications networks, and other third-party infrastructure outside of ASPG's control.
Delivery of authentication messages is not guaranteed and may be delayed or unavailable due to carrier availability, network conditions, device configuration, or other circumstances.
9. Changes to These Terms
ASPG may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, practices, or applicable requirements.
